Over the years of repairing and building custom firearms it has become apparent that through standard usage (even if you are careful) your firearms can take a serious beating and are exposed to numerous elements (water, sand, rocks, ice/snow, etc…
This kind of beating results in the firearms looking terrible, worn, and aged. In most cases, the factory coating had been scraped off. This can result in the firearm being susceptible to corrosion. This is reason that we fully recommend using a product Cerakote. The Cerakote provides a protective coating for your firearm and gives your firearm a completely new look. It is not uncommon that the Cerakote coating provides results that are better than the factory coatings.
We take extensive measures to ensure that when we apply a Cerakote coating that it will not flake or peel. If your firearm flakes or peels after we have applied the Cerakote, then you can send your firearm(s) back to us and we will reapply another Cerakote coating at no cost to you.
